Just trying things out to see how it all works. Still not quite sure about it but I'm sure I'll get there in the end. I am enjoying putting the sketchbook together, and getting out and about taking photos for inspiration. Can't seem to find much vibrant colour about at the moment so will have to look further afield. Lots of green things though. I'm definitely seeing the world in a new light and now find that I can't go anywhere without working out the colour tones of things.
Had a go at the transfer paints yesterday afternoon but found the results disappointing. I think I may have diluted the paint too much, or perhaps not applied the iron for long enough. I have photographed some of the paper I have painted and really looking forward to stitching.
